Versions of the privacy policy

This document published at the address: https://laserwall.it/privacy constitutes the privacy policy of this site.

It may be subject to changes or updates. Users are invited to periodically consult this page to keep up to date with the latest legislative changes.

This document was updated on June 25, 2020, to comply with the relevant regulatory provisions and in particular in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679.

With the European Regulation on the protection of personal data n. 2016/679 (or “GDPR”), the level of data protection has been raised for the benefit of all data subjects.

Article 28 GDPR provides that anyone who processes personal data on behalf of another data controller acquires the role of “Data Processor”. The Data Processor is required to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure and demonstrate that data processing is performed in accordance with the GDPR.

The GDPR also requires that the activities carried out by the controller be governed by a contract or other legal act in which, among other things, the nature and purpose of the processing, the security measures adopted, and the rights and obligations of the parties are defined.

In accordance with the provisions of the GDRP, whenever Laserline Digital Signage not only provides a technological solution, but also carries out data processing operations on behalf of the client (e.g. provision of cloud services), it assumes the role of data controller and, as such, is required to ensure that the client’s data is processed in compliance with the security measures provided for by the GDPR.

For these reasons, we have integrated our contractual conditions to specifically regulate the rights and obligations of Laserline Digital Signage and the user with regard to the protection of personal data, in order to meet the requirements of the GDPR. In addition, we have strengthened security measures, both on a technical and organizational level, to ensure data protection in the services provided to customers in order to reduce the risks of non-compliant processing and meet the requirements of the GDPR.

Below you can consult our Master Data Processing Agreement (“MDPA”), which describes the terms and conditions of the processing of Personal Data performed by Laserwall and the responsibilities related to the processing activities, including the commitment made as a Data Processor pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. The specific features of the processing of Personal Data are described, in the respective “DPA – Special Processing Conditions” below with reference to each product.
